SoundCloud is looking for a Sales Strategist focused on the tactical execution and creative delivery of SoundCloud’s advertising strategy. You will support the Sales Strategy pod by owing the development of mid-tier and priority RFP responses. This role requires a high degree of adaptability and a passion for music culture, as you will be operating in a fast-paced environment that demands both creative storytelling and operational discipline. You are expected to be a master of your craft, working independently to deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.

The Revenue Operations team's mission is to drive revenue and build long-term client relationships through a demonstrated understanding of brand partnerships, sales strategy, key industry advertising verticals, advertiser client business goals and challenges, strategic partnership recommendations, mutually beneficial and unique creative ideas, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the creation of strategic responses for mid-to-high tier US RFPs ($300k+), utilizing audience data and cultural insights to build "SoundCloud-first" narratives
• Coordinate with Music and Editorial teams to package established custom programs (e.g., The Booth, Sound Advice) for brand partners
• Act as a reliable point of contact for our reseller partners, providing them with the narratives and data needed to sell SoundCloud effectively
• Leverage approved AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to summarize briefs and generate initial creative hooks to increase pod throughput
• Manage the project pipeline for your assigned accounts via Asana, ensuring all cross-functional inputs (Legal/Production) are captured on time
• Stay current on US market trends and competitor activity to ensure SoundCloud's market positioning remains relevant
Experience and Background:

• 2–4+ years in sales strategy, digital media, agency planning, or marketing
• Deep interest in the music creator economy and Gen Z digital trends
• Comfort working in a constantly changing, high-velocity environment
• Manages multiple priorities simultaneously within deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and broader functional groups
• Proficiency in building compelling visual decks that translate data into creative ideas
