The Role - Keep day-to-day Tech & AI work organized across product, research, and operations. Track projects and decisions, keep documentation clear, and help make sure the tools we build and buy actually get adopted — closing the gap between idea and execution.
TITLE: Tech/AI Assistant
REPORTS TO: Director, AI & Advancement
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA
What kind of person are you?
• Genuinely curious about AI, software, and music technology
• Organized under pressure, with real attention to detail
• A self-starter who does not wait to be told what comes next
• Clear and precise in writing
• Collaborative, but able to run with things alone
Key Responsibilities
• Track Tech & AI projects, owners, decisions, and follow-ups
• Build and maintain simple workflows, trackers, and documentation
• Research tools and automations; help evaluate and roll them out
• Support APG internal tech work as needed
• Keep communication tight across teams and close open loops
Requirements
• Ability to pick up new software quickly, with or without formal training
• Strong written communication and documentation habits
• Interest in where music, data, and technology meet
• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
Beneficial Experience
• Some exposure to project coordination, operations, or internal tooling
• Familiarity with AI assistants, no-code automation, or light scripting is a plus, not a requirement
Education
• No formal degree required
