TITLE: Attorney, Legal & Business Affairs
REPORTS TO: EVP/Head of Legal & Business Affairs
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (Minimum 4 days a week in person, non-negotiable)

Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate recording agreements, publishing agreements, and other music industry contracts
• Advise on copyright and other intellectual property matters related to the label and publishing company
• Manage deal flow and maintain organized deal files and contract tracking systems
• Support business affairs and A&R teams on deal structuring, business points, and talent negotiations
• Provide day-to-day legal counsel to A&Rs and staff on a broad range of business, corporate, and operational matters
Beneficial Experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing of the California State Bar (or eligible for admission via RIHC)
• Minimum of 3 full years of experience at an entertainment law firm or in-house at a music company
Education
• Juris Doctor (JD) required
