Internship Overview
Rostrum Pacific is seeking a creative and highly organized Social Content & Commerce Intern to support the day-to-day management of our shop-focused social channels. The intern will help develop product-driven content, maintain active and engaging social pages, support basic TikTok Shop updates, and adapt content across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how thoughtful content, platform management, and social commerce work together to build audiences and drive product discovery. 
Areas of Learning
Social Content Creation & Commerce Support 
• Help create short-form content that highlights products available through TikTok Shop and other shops across supported social platforms 
• Write platform-appropriate captions, hooks, titles, descriptions, and calls to action
• Help identify content formats that encourage product discovery and conversion
• Assist with basic TikTok Shop listing updates, including titles, descriptions, imagery, links, and product tagging 
• Track basic content and shop performance to understand what is resonating with audiences 
Cross-Platform Management 
• Help maintain active, organized, and up-to-date Shop social pages 
• Cross-post content while adapting copy and formatting for each platform 
• Monitor comments and flag questions, issues, or opportunities for the appropriate team member
• Support creative brainstorms around music, merchandise, artist moments, and cultural trends 
What We’re Looking For
• Passion for music, the independent music scene, and how commerce is evolving on social platforms 
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and a genuine interest in how consumers discover and buy products online 
• Experience in TikTok Shop preferred
• Basic design/editing skills (Photoshop, CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.) 
• Comfort with (or eagerness to learn) reading performance data and using it to inform content and affiliate strategy 
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail — shop and affiliate management involves a lot of moving pieces 
• Clear and effective communication (written and verbal), especially for affiliate outreach 
**Program Details **
**Eligibility: **Must be currently enrolled full-time in a college or university program and eligible to receive academic credit for the internship 
**Schedule: **Flexible commitment of 10–15 hours per week 
**Location: **Los Angeles, CA — must be based in the LA area
