We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and social-media-savvy Record Label Intern to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work across three distinct labels, supporting the Label Manager, Head of Admin/Digital, and Head of A&R on a variety of creative and administrative projects.
Key Responsibilities
Label Operations & Administration
• Assist with creative marketing rollouts for both new / catalog releases.
• Assist with label operations from pre-signing to release, including preparing assets for delivery, file organization, drafting press releases, etc.
• Help with quality control across release assets, assist with lyric transcription, etc.
• Support the team with incoming sync opportunities and the preparation of pitch briefs.
• Update internal label-owned playlists on a weekly basis.
Social Media & Digital Content
• Oversee social calendars across label platforms and create engaging promo assets.
• Manage internal TikTok fan pages / media pages, including posting and content creation using tools like CapCut and Canva.
• Stay at the forefront of digital culture by tracking current and emerging social trends for label and artist activity.
• Experience with Discord is a major plus.
A&R
• Assist the Head of A&R with organizational tasks and research for potential new signings.
• Update internal demo tracking systems.
Qualifications & Skills
• Comfortable using CapCut and Canva (or similar video editing tools).
• Familiar with Chartmetric, Songstats, Spotify for Artists, etc.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and Discord.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• A genuine interest in the label landscape and artist development across dance/electronic acts, interest in rap/hip hop is a bonus.
