You'll manage the full merchandise lifecycle, from concept through production to sell-through, while building brand consistency across touring, e-commerce, and retail channels worldwide.
**Key Responsibilities **
Brand & Product Strategy
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies for assigned artists, aligning product lines with each artist's brand identity, fanbase, and release cycles
• Manage the end-to-end merch product lifecycle: conception, design briefs, sampling, production, pricing, and launch
• Partner with artists, managers, and record label teams to ensure merchandise reflects current campaigns, album cycles, and visual branding
Product Development & Sourcing
• Stay current on music merchandise trends, streetwear/fashion crossover, and D2C innovations
• Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to delivery, including vendor sourcing, sampling, quality control, and production timelines
• Negotiate pricing, minimums, and terms with manufacturers and licensees
• Ensure products meet quality, cost, and sustainability standards
Sales Channel Management
• Oversee merchandise sales across tour/venue, e-commerce (DTC), retail, and licensing partnerships
• Coordinate with tour merchandise managers on inventory logistics and nightly venue settlement
• Manage online store operations, product launches, and promotional campaigns in partnership with marketing teams
Licensing & Partnerships
• Identify and manage brand collaboration and licensing opportunities (fashion, lifestyle, retail partners)
• Negotiate licensing agreements and ensure contractual compliance and brand consistency across partners
Financial & Performance Management
• Build and manage merchandising budgets and forecasts for artist roster and tours
• Analyze sales data and KPIs (sell-through rate, margin, per-cap sales) to inform future product and pricing decisions
• Report performance to senior leadership and artist management
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing, creative/design, tour production, and finance teams
• Manage relationships with external designers, production vendors, and freelance creative contributors
**Qualifications **
Required
• 4+ years of experience in merchandising, brand management, or product marketing (music, entertainment, fashion, or consumer goods preferred)
• Proven track record managing product lines from concept through retail execution
• Strong understanding of touring and the live music business, including tour merchandise operations
• Experience working directly with artists, management teams, and record labels
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify or similar)
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple artists/priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills with experience using sales data to guide product and inventory decisions

• A strong eye for design, fashion trends, and brand storytelling
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to move quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment as tour timelines, product drops, and album cycles often move fast
• Resourceful problem-solver under pressure
• Detail-oriented without losing sight of time constraints
Preferred
• Existing relationships with apparel manufacturers, printers, or fulfillment vendors
• Experience with licensing agreements and royalty structures
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or related field (or equivalent experience)
**Compensation & Benefits **
• Competitive salary
• Yearly paid federal holidays off + 2 weeks off during the Christmas holiday season
• Additional paid vacation time and personal days
• Employee paid health insurance
• Shortened workday “Summer Friday” hours from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend
• Travel opportunities tied to tours and artist events
• A creative, fast-paced environment working directly with artists and their management team
