Dirty Fest LA 2026, Festival Production Coordinator (independent contractor)
Overview
DM Presents LLC is looking for an experienced festival production coordinator for Dirty Fest LA 2026 at Catch One, Los Angeles, on Friday, December 4, 2026: five stages, approximately thirty artists, all ages. The Coordinator owns the technical and hospitality advance for the two main stages and runs production on show day, working with DM’s talent buyer, the Catch One production team and the venue’s head of security.
Requirements
• Proven experience in concert and festival production or stage management
• Experience managing crews and stage teams under pressure
• Strong communication skills, including radio discipline
• Able to delegate, prioritize and troubleshoot on the fly
• Firm and respectful when handling pushback from artist teams or venue staff
Scope
Advancing (Main Stage and Stage 2, Underground). Confirm technical and hospitality requirements with each artist’s team, reconcile them against the Catch One tech specs and the shared festival backline, and deliver completed advance sheets to the Dirty Fest and Catch One production teams. Window: November 6 to November 13, 2026.
Pre-event meetings. Weekly one-hour planning calls from the last week of October through show week.
Artist tech riders. Ensure every rider for the two main stages is on file with both production teams; flag and resolve performance-related issues before show day.
Show day, December 4. On site from 11:30am through completion of load-out (approximately 1:30am). Oversee stage managers and A1s, run the set-time schedule and changeovers, liaise with Catch One’s production manager for venue requirements and with the head of security on security measures, and route merchandise, VIP, ticketing and security questions to the right DM lead.
Post-event. Supervise load-out and attend a short debrief.
Compensation
$2,000 flat, covering the advance, the pre-event meetings and show day, paid 50% at the start of advancing and 50% within 7 days after the event, against invoice. DM provides radios and credentials. Independent contractor engagement: invoice through your own business, W-9 required, own taxes and insurance.
