About Noux Academy
Noux Academy is a music industry education platform for independent artists. It offers practical, honest guidance on how the business works, through interactive tools like the Artist Simulator, 1:1 strategy sessions, and B-Side, our Substack newsletter. B-Side publishes essays, personal stories and interviews about the music industry, and we are opening it to new writers.

About this internship
You will work directly with me, the founder of Noux Academy. I have spent ten years in the music industry, working in artist and talent management. Before that, I studied journalism and wrote for local music communities. I also worked briefly as a radio host. That is how I got into the music business: as a young person writing about music, with a community that gave me a chance. Writing remained a passion, and I still do it today.
I want to pass that on. This internship is a way to give a newcomer a real place to publish, along with real feedback, and I’m willing to share what I know and what I have learned along the way, about writing and about how the industry works.

What you’ll do
• Write and publish pieces, such as personal stories, reflections on the industry, and interviews
• Research topics and develop your own story ideas
• Work with me on editing, so each piece gets better before it goes out
• Help identify and interview people in the industry

• Introductions to people in my network where they make sense
• Academic credit through your school (Noux Academy is eligible for academic credit where the school permits. I’m happy to complete any internship paperwork your school requires)

Who I'm looking for
• A student or enthusiast with a real interest in music and writing
• No professional experience required: curiosity, honesty and a willingness to learn matter most
• Someone who can meet deadlines and take editorial feedback well
