What you’ll be doing
• Overall management of the [PIAS] label group D2C stores.
• Full ownership of the D2C P&L and continue to grow the D2C revenue and gross margin
• Manage the relationship with the key third party suppliers and partners.
• Set up of product development, making sure that pricing, imagery, and description are optimised to engage fans.
• Ongoing monitoring of sales performance across sites, identifying opportunities for further growing and developing the business.
• Review stock and inventory across all stores on a daily basis and deactivating products and placing product reorders accordingly.
• Regular merchandising and optimisation of the store front, ensuring an optimal browsing experience for customers
• Managing the needs of key stakeholders across the business.
• Manage and oversee the artist and label stores that are created and run by our label group in close collaboration with our D2C partners.
• Partner with [PIAS] marketing and audience development teams to shape and execute global direct to fan strategies, advocating a fan-first approach at the core of every new release and catalogue campaign.
• Work closely with artist management, our D2C partners and production team to create exciting product offerings and impactful direct to fan campaigns.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to our artists, labels and marketing teams providing them with the insights and best practices needed for successful direct to fan activities.
• Work closely with our Audience and Fan Development team to move targeted audiences around the world into engaged fan communities for our artists and labels.
Key Deliverables
•  Oversee continuous year on year growth of the D2C business
•  Identify sales opportunities to present to labels / artists / managers
•  Manage regular meetings with all key stakeholders
•  Prepare monthly report and update for the [PIAS] board
Skills and Experience
• Leadership and stakeholder management
• In-depth knowledge of Shopify platform, including proficiency in setting up and managing online stores, configuring product pages, and optimising user experience.
• A strong understanding of E-Commerce best practices, including product merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated success in driving online sales growth and achieving revenue targets within the E-Commerce space.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including email campaigns, social media integration, and search engine optimisation (SEO) to drive traffic and conversion.
• Previous proven sales experience with a strong understanding of all aspects of e-commerce, including operations and reporting
• Global outlook with knowledge and experience of international markets
• Creative design skills using photoshop or similar tools and advantage
