Flood Division
Flood Division is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to help execute the social-first marketing strategies that introduce new music to millions of listeners.
This role is centered around user-generated content (UGC), fan accounts, creator marketing, and internet culture. You'll work alongside our marketing team to identify trends, build creator campaigns, and help artists grow through organic content instead of relying solely on paid advertising.
We're looking for someone who spends more time on TikTok than they'd like to admit, understands why certain videos go viral, and gets excited about finding creative ways to make music spread online.
What You'll Be Doing
• Researching and identifying creators for UGC campaigns across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Building and maintaining creator outreach lists.
• Assisting with creator communication and campaign execution.
• Finding trending content formats, memes, edits, and social trends that can be adapted for artist campaigns.
• Creating and managing fan accounts to help grow artist communities.
• Tracking campaign performance and identifying what types of content are driving engagement and streams.
• Monitoring music, gaming, film, sports, and internet culture for opportunities to connect artists with relevant audiences.
• Contributing creative marketing ideas for upcoming releases.
Who We're Looking For
• You spend a significant amount of time on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, or X.
• You understand internet culture and recognize trends before they become mainstream.
• You're curious about why some songs explode online while others don't.
• You're organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
• You're interested in digital marketing, music, social media, or creator culture.
• Experience creating content, managing social media accounts, fan pages, meme pages, or online communities is a major plus.
• Basic experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is helpful but not required.
What Success Looks Like
By the end of the internship, you'll understand how modern music marketing campaigns are built - from identifying the right creators to launching UGC campaigns, growing fan communities, and analyzing the types of content that translate into real audience growth.
