Dorm Room
Digital Marketing Coordinator
Full time
Remote • Los Angeles, CA, USA
Category: Marketing/PR/Social/Events
About the Role
Dorm Room is a digital marketing agency working across music, film/tv, and consumer brands. We're looking for an experienced and qualified Digital Marketing Coordinator to support strategy and execution across our music artist roster, the ideal candidate is someone who knows how to build an artist's fan-facing digital presence and content engine from the ground up.
What You'll Do
• Own digital marketing and social strategy for a portfolio of music artist clients across genres
• Develop and execute campaign concepts, and platform-specific strategy (TikTok & Instagram)
• Build out artist positioning, voice, and content pillars tailored to each act's brand and fanbase
• Manage fan page networks, UGC campaigns, and creator/influencer partnerships
• Coordinate content around releases, tours, and key moments (single drops, tour announcements, EP rollouts)
• Track performance metrics and translate data into actionable strategy adjustments
• Collaborate with Dorm Room's production team to bring campaigns to life
• Help build scalable systems/playbooks as we grow across genres
Who You Are
• 1-4+ years in music marketing, social media strategy, or artist/label management
• Proven experience growing artist or fan-page social channels and running multi-platform campaigns
• Strong understanding of music industry marketing specifically (release cycles, fan culture, streaming platforms)
• Comfortable owning artist/label relationships and presenting strategy with confidence
• Experience with fan page infrastructure, creator partnerships, or UGC campaign management
• A point of view on what makes an artist's social presence work, not just what's trending
Bonus Points
• Existing relationships with artists, managers, or industry contacts across genres (country, rap, pop)
• Deep cultural fluency in a specific genre space
What We Offer
• Ownership over artist workstreams within a growing music division
• Direct access to founder/leadership, room to shape strategy
• Competitive compensation based on experience
• This role is remote-friendly, though we have a preference for candidates based in or around Los Angeles for occasional in-person collaboration and client touchpoints, not a dealbreaker if the right person is elsewhere.
