Part-Time Cover Art Designer – Oury Records
About Us: Oury Records is an independent electronic music label specializing in bass, phonk, EDM, and underground sounds. Founded by TheOnlyMajed (9M+ followers across platforms), we're building a roster of cutting-edge artists who need visual identities as bold as their sound.
The Role: We need a skilled cover art designer to create compelling artwork for our rapidly growing release schedule. You'll work directly with our artists to translate their sonic vision into striking visual identities.
Responsibilities:
• Design cover art for singles, EPs, and albums
• Collaborate directly with artists to execute their creative vision
• Create original artwork for artists who don't have existing designs
• Maintain visual consistency and quality standards across all releases
• Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced release environment
What We're Looking For:
• Portfolio demonstrating understanding of bass music, EDM, phonk, and underground music aesthetics
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software
• Strong eye for dark, aggressive, and stylish visual design
• Ability to take loose concepts and develop them into finished artwork
• Quick turnaround time and reliable communication
• Music industry experience preferred but not required if portfolio is strong
Compensation & Volume:
• Pay: $50-$150 per cover art piece (based on complexity and scope)
• Volume: Average 5 releases per week, sometimes 10+
• Potential monthly earnings: $1,000-$6,000+ depending on release schedule
• Project-based, independent contractor position
