**Position Overview **
Miller PR is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and culturally engaged Assistant Account Executive to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and understands how modern publicity operates across traditional media, digital media, creator communities, podcasts, newsletters, and social platforms.
The ideal candidate is passionate about entertainment, music, culture, and media, has a minimum of 2-3 years agency or record label experience, and possesses a growing network of media, creator, and industry relationships. This individual will serve as a key support player across multiple accounts while contributing creative ideas, strategic thinking, and exceptional client service.
This is a hybrid position based in New York City.
What You’ll Do:
• Support team on day-to-day client communication and deliverables
• Coordinate media campaigns across entertainment, brands, and culture
• Report to team leads
• Build relationships with leading journalists and content creators
• Collaborate with our creative, social, and strategy teams to bring ideas to life
• Supervise interns to ensure success on all accounts
• Craft press materials and action points for team to share with clients
Requirements:
· MUST live within the New York City tri-state area
· Minimum 2-3 years experience working at a PR agency and/or record label required
· Proven relationships in media, and with influencers/creators preferred
· Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines required
· Proficiency with Muck Rack, Cision, Microsoft Office, and other PR tools
· Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for client events, festivals, premieres, red carpets, and activations
