Green Tea Distribution (GTD) is a modern music distribution and artist development platform built by the team behind MOAG Records, home to artists including ZHU, THEY., Gallant, Mindchatter, and more. We help independent artists grow long-term careers through distribution, education, strategy, and one-on-one support.
We're looking for an organized, proactive, and highly dependable Artist Onboarding & Retention Manager to become the primary point of contact for our newest members.
About the Role
This is one of the most important roles at GTD.
You will be responsible for ensuring every new artist has an exceptional first experience with our platform while helping maximize long-term engagement and retention.
We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, communicates proactively, solves problems independently, and genuinely enjoys helping artists succeed.
Responsibilities
• Conduct onboarding calls with new GTD members.
• Build strong relationships with artists from their first day.
• Guide artists through the GTD platform and membership benefits.
• Ensure every new member understands how to maximize their membership.
• Schedule and conduct follow-up check-ins with members.
• Identify artists at risk of canceling and proactively re-engage them.
• Track onboarding completion and member progress.
• Coordinate with Sales, Artist Success, and Marketing teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM notes and follow-up tasks.
• Resolve artist issues quickly and professionally.
• Continuously improve onboarding materials, workflows, and retention strategies.
• Own the artist onboarding experience from beginning to end.
