Remote • Hybrid (Old Street, London, UK (Wednesday and Thursdays in office, the rest of the week is remote working))

£21K per annum, with the view for a payrise upon successful completion of the internship to a perm role

The Role
We’re looking for a talented individual who can confidently showcase their ability in the social media x music space in a social media intern role, working with the cream of the UK’s artist, festival, club and music brand propositions in the UK.
Initially, you’ll be nurtured in-house by our experienced social media specialists, supporting on social media tasks involving the client rosters they manage.
If your internship is successful there is opportunity for a full-time role within the social team, where you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your social media expertise and deliver on a variety of client projects alongside the rest of the team.

Your responsibilities
● Supporting the social team in delivering our core agency services
● Channel management for a roster of clients including posting and channel upkeep
● Curation of content for our roster’s channels
● Creation of TikToks using native editing tools for our roster’s channels
● Development of day-to-day social media content ideas
● Collaborating with wider teams to brainstorm & develop idea banks for clients
● Participating in client calls & meetings

You'll flourish here if you:
● Have experience of a good understanding of the music industry (but not a deal breaker if not!)
● Live & breathe music culture, with a passion for dance music primarily as well as indie / alternative & pop ideally too
● An avid user of TikTok, Instagram & YouTube, ideally with a great personal profile on one of these platforms
● Are super organised & proactive
● Can stay focused and display resilience in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
● Love being creative and coming up with new ideas for content & copy
● Have a good working knowledge of social media platforms, and keep up to date with platform trends, news & features
● Are always on the look-out for what’s trending, and have a particular interest in cultural niches
● Can execute meticulously whilst staying energetic and passionate
● Are sociable with a great sense of fun and humour
● Have exceptionally high standards, with zero room for error and a meticulous eye for detail
● Love dogs (we have three of them in the Hype Lab family and they're always knocking about the office)
● Clearly and confidently communicate, both in person and online
