**A&R Intern  -  EMEA (12 Month FTC) **

The assessment day for this role will be held w/c June 9th 2025

A little bit about our team:

At WMG, the EMEA region (currently spanning across Europe, Eastern Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, India and Africa) has been rapidly expanding. We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic A&R Intern to support our regional A&R activity, particularly leaning in to provide hands-on support to our affiliate in Africa, Middle East and South Asia 

Here you’ll get to:
• Contribute & ideate on artists and projects from Africa, Middle East and South Asia , bringing fresh ideas to the international artist development process

• Organise and maintain a comprehensive database of music files, mixes and masters

• Schedule and organise meetings as requested, archive meetings materials and ensure relevant documents are sent to participants as needed

• Coordinate and schedule sessions for our artist, liaise with recording studios and producers to ensure seamless session logistics

• Coordinate Writing Camps with senior members of team involving artists, producers, and songwriters

• Put together and distribute information packs, highlighting, artist one sheet and monitoring key tracks etc.

• Partner with internal research team and use internal tools to create/track information about signing statistics

• Recommend potential unsigned artist to senior members of the team 

About you:
• Passion for music discovery and the creative process.

• Good understanding of music genres ranging from Afrobeats, Amapiano, Punjabi Hip-Hop to Khaleeji 

• Possess a passion for all genres of music and the ability to identify what’s commercially viable.

• Positive and can do attitude 

• Well organised and the ability to work well within a team environment 

• In touch with current trends 

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills. 

We’d love it if you also had:
• Experience working across Africa, MENA India and South Asia markets , with great cultural awareness
