We’re looking for a Head Host to join the team at The Blues Kitchen Manchester.

The Blues Kitchen Manchester is an award-winning restaurant, bar and live music venue known for its all-American comfort food, cocktails and world-class blues, soul and funk performances.

We’re looking for someone confident and organised to lead the host desk and manage the flow of the restaurant during busy services.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Leading the host desk and setting the tone for guest arrivals.
• Managing reservations, walk-ins and table flow throughout the shift.
• Supporting and guiding the host team during busy services.
• Communicating closely with the restaurant management team.
• Making sure every guest receives a warm welcome and smooth start to their visit.

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in a host or reservations role within a busy restaurant.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Confidence managing guest flow during high-volume service.
• A calm and solutions-focused approach.
• A genuine interest in hospitality.

What to Expect
• Competitive pay: £12.75 per hour plus tronc (total package usually between £12.75 – £16.50 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
