THE ROLE
The newly created role of Staffing Manager is a key member of the Operations department. This role requires strong personal skills, with a passion for building teams and growing talent. We are looking for someone who is personable, adaptable, and a quick learner. Candidates should have proven experience in elevating standards, initiating new processes, training & developing staff for in-person events. We are looking for someone who aligns with SUPER’s brand, vision and standards. This role may require travel domestically and internationally to attend the start of tours, work one-off shows, and join team events. Travel is project-dependent and typically aligned with the Summer touring season. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Main internal and external point of contact for all SUPER staffing needs
• Maintain and continuously update the SUPER Staffing Database, covering all active countries and continents
• Confirm and keep up to date on all local staffing requirements across tours and events, collaborating with Project Managers for timely planning
• Source, hire, and settle payment with all local staff
• Ensure all staff are confirmed and hired at least 1 month before the event
• Ensure all freelance staff are paid within a pre-determined short window
• Ensure we are hiring staff that align with SUPER’s expectations, brand, and vision
• Attend tour kickoffs and select one-off events to lead onboarding and provide operational support
• Prepare and distribute clear and concise staff briefs for every tour and event
• Issue job offers and contracts for contractors and freelancers in coordination with HR
• Partner with Finance to ensure all staff and contractor payments are processed accurately and on time, using relevant payroll and invoicing systems
• Track and manage all contractor and freelancer documentation, including NDAs, tax forms, contracts, and payment info
• Collaborate with HQ on internal staffing needs when applicable (e.g. interview scheduling, onboarding, system setup)
• Drive continuous improvement in staffing processes, including onboarding, contracting, and post-event debriefing, by identifying friction points and recommending solutions
• Host online trainings and manage any admin afterwards (distributing notes, video recordings etc)
• Ensure staffing practices are compliant with local labor laws and reflective of SUPER’s values across all regions
• Collect, document, and share post-event feedback from local staff and Tour Reps to improve future staffing decisions
TOOLS & SOFTWARE
This role must be proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft 365. Experience with Airtable, Ramp, Jotform, and other project management software is highly desirable. 
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience. Previous staffing experience required. Bonus points if you have experience in touring, event management, and/or hospitality management. Experience across international markets would be highly advantageous.
