We are seeking a world-class Marketing Manager to lead the global brand, creative strategy, and audience growth ecosystem for Francis Mercier. This is a senior-level role for a highly strategic and creatively exceptional operator who understands how to build an artist into a globally recognized cultural brand.
The ideal candidate combines creative instincts with strong commercial and operational capabilities. They deeply understand music culture, storytelling, audience psychology, digital ecosystems, and premium brand positioning — and know how to translate that into sustained growth, cultural relevance, and measurable impact.
This person will play a central role in shaping the next chapter of Francis Mercier’s global expansion across music, live experiences, partnerships, fashion, content, and culture as well as reaching Gen Z / Gen Alpha as well as across demographics.
What you own
You will own and lead the overarching marketing vision for Francis Mercier, ensuring a cohesive, elevated, and globally resonant brand identity across all touchpoints. From content strategy and campaign development to visual direction, fan engagement, partnerships, and cultural positioning including merch designing. Ultimately, you will be responsible for strengthening Francis Mercier’s global presence; shaping how the world views and appreciates his brand.
Brand & Creative Direction
• Lead and continuously evolve the global brand positioning and creative direction across all platforms and audience touchpoints
• Define and maintain a premium, culturally authentic, and globally scalable narrative identity
• Ensure consistency across music campaigns, touring, partnerships, social content, merchandise, interviews, visuals, and live experiences
• Translate artistic vision into compelling storytelling that deepens fan connection
Marketing Strategy & Community Engagement
• Develop and execute comprehensive global marketing strategies aligned with releases, touring, partnerships, milestones, and long-term growth objectives
• Lead multi-platform campaign planning and execution across digital, social, experiential, editorial, and partnership channels
• Build scalable audience growth strategies focused on engagement, retention, community development, and conversion
• Analyze campaign performance, audience insights, and platform analytics to continuously optimize performance and growth
• Conceptualize and execute innovative fan engagement initiatives, experiential activations, interviews, meet & greets, and community-building moments
Content & Production Oversight
• Direct creative production for photoshoots, music videos, live content, tour content, branded content, podcasts, and special projects
• Build and manage a high-performing network of creatives including videographers, editors, photographers, designers, and content creators as well as Soley marketing manager
• Ensure content output consistently reflects a world-class standard aligned with Francis Mercier’s evolving artistic identity
Partnerships & Cultural Positioning
• Collaborate closely with management, agents, labels, PR teams, A&R, and external partners to align marketing strategy across all business areas
• Oversee media opportunities, influencer collaborations and strategic partnerships,
• Identify culturally relevant opportunities that expand artist’s visibility beyond music into lifestyle, fashion, luxury, travel, and global culture
• Lead merchandise creative direction, product concepts, launch campaigns, and rollout strategies
• Help identify and develop new revenue-driving marketing opportunities tied to audience engagement and brand growth
Who you are
• 5+ years of experience in a position that has reflected the responsibilities above, in the music or entertainment industry. We will also consider less experienced candidates with proven track record of building and scaling brands with measurable audience growth and engagement
• Deep understanding of global music culture, audience behavior, social media ecosystems, and digital storytelling
• Highly organized and proven ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, thriving in a fast-moving environment
• Strong creative direction skills but more importantly a true passion for music, culture, storytelling, and building globally impactful brands
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative and marketing vision to artists, management, and partners
