Seen Media Group
Music Partnerships, Account Executive
Full-time
Hybrid • New York, NY (Hybrid)
$80,000–$150,000+ per year
You’re one of SEEN’s people in the music world. You know the folks behind the rollout, including label marketing teams, managers, A&Rs, and artist teams, and you know how to get the conversation started.
Your job is to bring in business and close it. You’ll spot the moment before it arrives, whether that’s a debut, a surprise drop, a tour, or an anniversary. You’ll pitch the idea, work with our creative team to sharpen it, and stay with the client all the way to the wall.
This is a sales-forward, relationship-driven role reporting to SEEN’s leadership team. You’ll own your accounts and your pipeline, and you’ll help make SEEN the go-to partner for putting music on the street.
What You’ll Do
Build your book
• Develop and manage relationships with labels, artist managers, publishers, distributors, and agencies
• Prospect new accounts, open doors, and turn conversations into signed campaigns
• Get out to shows, showcases, listening sessions, and industry events to grow your network and SEEN’s presence
Find the moment
• Track upcoming album and single releases, tours, festivals, anniversaries, and artist announcements
• Stay locked into emerging artists, genres, and scenes before they break
• Share what you’re hearing in the market with the leadership team
Sell the campaign
• Learn what each label or artist team needs for a release or tour, and pitch out-of-home campaigns that move fans
• Partner with our creative, production, and ops teams on concepts, decks, and proposals
• Sell the full SEEN toolkit: billboards, wild posting, murals, street-level media, experiential, and integrated campaigns
• Stay with clients from first pitch through final install, making sure every campaign lands
Hit your number
• Own an active pipeline with a focus on new revenue
• Grow existing accounts into repeat and multi-market business
• Forecast accurately and hit individual and team revenue goals
Who You Are
• Connected. You have real relationships across labels, management, agencies, publishers, or artist teams
• 5+ years in music, label marketing, artist management, or music-focused advertising, media, or sales
• You live and breathe music and understand how the modern music business works
• You know release cycles, touring, and promo strategy, and what it takes to make a rollout land
• You’re comfortable prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing, and you’re motivated by a number
• You’re organized, follow through, and keep a pipeline moving
• You can hold your own in a creative conversation and a commercial one
• You’re NYC-based and part of the city’s music scene, not just watching it
