POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns for concerts, tours, festivals, and special events. This role collaborates closely with the Booking, Ticketing, Marketing Operations, and Marketing Services teams to deliver high-performing, cohesive campaigns across multiple channels. The Marketing Manager oversees campaign execution, client communication, creative asset coordination, and performance tracking while ensuring alignment with company goals and event objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for concerts, tours, festivals, and special events.
• Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns ranging from single-market shows to national tour campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Booking, Ticketing, Marketing Operations, and Marketing Services to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Assist in identifying target audiences, market trends, and promotional opportunities to maximize ticket sales and audience engagement.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign alignment across all marketing channels.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
• Serve as a key point of contact for artist management teams, agents, promoters, and internal stakeholders regarding marketing initiatives.
• Facilitate communication around campaign timelines, creative approvals, promotional plans, and reporting.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and partners while representing the company professionally.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaign deliverables and expectations are met.
Campaign Coordination & Creative Management
• Coordinate the development and distribution of promotional assets including digital ads, email campaigns, posters, social media content, videos, and event websites.
• Work alongside internal creative and marketing specialists to launch and optimize campaigns across digital, email, radio, press, and social channels.
• Manage campaign timelines, asset requests, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Support branding and creative development for assigned events and tours.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Monitor campaign performance and ticket sales using analytics and reporting tools.
• Analyze marketing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness, audience engagement, and return on investment.
• Provide campaign updates and reporting to internal teams and external partners.
• Use campaign insights to recommend optimizations and improve future marketing efforts.
Budget & Administrative Support
• Assist with tracking marketing budgets and campaign spending to ensure efficiency and ROI.
• Coordinate vendor communication, invoicing, and reconciliation processes as needed.
• Maintain organized campaign documentation, timelines, and reporting records.
Team Collaboration
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives and event success.
• Contribute ideas, strategies, and process improvements to enhance team efficiency and campaign performance.
• Support a collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented team environment.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Skills & Abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Understanding of digital marketing platforms, advertising strategies, and campaign optimization.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and marketing-related platforms/tools.
• Knowledge of the music and live events industry preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing or supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with live entertainment, touring, concerts, or event marketing preferred.
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy, creative development, and campaign execution.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Availability for occasional nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
