Role Description:
Crew Leadership
• Runs the touring party day to day: techs, band members, drivers, support staff
• Keeps everyone briefed on call times, movements and last-minute changes
• Holds the group to the schedule once the day starts moving
Show-Day Execution
• Owns load-in and load-out windows and the movement of gear at each stop
• Agrees technical requirements with the house and locks the soundcheck slot
• Solves problems on the ground before they reach the stage
Routing & Advance
• Builds the run of dates and secures the rooms
• Books transport and hotels for artist and crew
• Advances every leg ahead of time so nothing is left open on arrival
Budget & Settlement
• Draws up and manages the tour budget: travel, rooms, catering, wages
• Books the daily float and reconciles receipts
• Handles show settlements and box-office income each night
Relationship Management
• Single line of contact to promoters, venues and suppliers
• Represents the artist's interests in every one of those conversations
Qualifications
Background
• 3+ years in live concert production on the road
• Working knowledge of the music, film, sport or theatre industry
Venues & Suppliers
• Confident dealings with venues and their production teams
• Contracts and staffs the full chain: technical, AV, catering, talent
Travel
• Experience handling travel for A- and B-level artists and their parties
Personal
• Strong project management instincts
• Takes ownership, adapts fast, moves first
• Keeps a clear head under pressure
