The Talent Buying Assistant will support an EDM talent buyer overseeing approximately 200–400 shows annually by managing pending offers, coordinating communications with artist agents, and tracking booking confirmations and deal statuses. Responsibilities include monitoring ticket counts, organizing artist contracts, following up on marketing threads, and keeping accurate records of artist invoices, deposits, and outgoing payments. The assistant will help ensure all booking details, deadlines, and financial obligations are tracked and handled efficiently. The role will also involve direct communication with agents and exposure to basic negotiations, including offers, counteroffers, and deal terms. This position offers hands-on experience in EDM talent buying, with opportunities to develop the skills necessary to manage bookings and negotiate deals independently.
