Dirty Mondays is seeking a Los Angeles–based Talent Booker to build, negotiate, and secure lineups for our concert series and live events.
Applicants must currently live in Los Angeles and be actively involved in the local music scene. Remote applicants will not be considered.
This is a monthly retainer independent contractor role, beginning month-to-month.

Role Overview
The Talent Booker will be responsible for:
• Scouting and identifying artists aligned with the Dirty Mondays brand
• Building cohesive, complementary lineups
• Conducting booking conversations and negotiations
• Securing artist confirmations
• Maintaining booking timelines and show organization
This role requires someone confident, connected, and highly organized.
Core Responsibilities
Lineup Development
• Curate strong, genre-consistent lineups
• Identify artists with real audience engagement
• Maintain a healthy balance between emerging and developing acts
• Finalize lineups 2–3 months in advance
Artist Outreach & Negotiation
• Initiate and manage booking conversations
• Negotiate terms professionally and confidently
• Lock in artists and track confirmations
• Maintain strong artist relationships
Show Advancing Support
• Collect required materials (press photos, bios, tech needs, etc.)
• Coordinate internally with production and marketing
• Ensure artists meet deadlines and deliverables
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
• Currently living in Los Angeles
• Active knowledge of the LA venue circuit and music ecosystem
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and deadline-driven
• Professional in negotiations
• Reliable and responsive
Ideal Candidate
• Has prior booking, talent buying, or promoter experience
• Is plugged into LA alternative / indie / rock scenes
• Understands live show dynamics and lineup synergy
• Has strong instincts for identifying real draw
• Wants to grow with a long-term live events brand
Compensation
Monthly retainer: $600-$800 depending on experience and workload.
Initial agreement is month-to-month.
• This role is designed to grow with the right person as Dirty Mondays continues expanding its show calendar and partnerships.
