About UniteSync
UniteSync is a music publishing administration platform representing more than 900 independent songwriters across 35+ countries, with over 50,000+ registered works and royalties collected from 40+ societies worldwide. We handle the complex back end of publishing so independent writers can focus on making music.
We are now launching Sync+, our sync licensing service. We give music supervisors and creative teams a fast, reliable way to source and license cleared music for their projects, with the rights side handled end to end.
The Role
We are looking for a Sync Agent to take Sync+ to market. You will be the person who introduces the service to the people who place music, builds relationships with music supervisors and creative buyers, and turns our catalogue into real placements in film, TV, advertising, trailers, games, and digital content.
This is a relationship and pipeline role. You know the sync world, you have a feel for what supervisors are briefing on, and you can match a track to a brief.
What you will do
• Identify, contact, and build relationships with music supervisors, sync agencies, ad agencies, production companies, trailer houses, game studios, and brand teams.
• Introduce and onboard new clients to the Sync+ service.
• Build and own a pipeline of sync opportunities, from first contact to closed placement.
• Pitch specific tracks and playlists against incoming briefs.
• Negotiate license fees and terms, with support from the UniteSync team.
• Keep the CRM clean and up to date so the pipeline is always accurate.
• Feed market signal back to the team: what supervisors want, what is missing, what is converting.
• Represent UniteSync at industry events and sync conferences.
What we are looking for
• Hands-on experience in sync licensing, music publishing, A&R, or sync at a label, library, or publisher.
• An existing network of music supervisor and sync buyer relationships is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of how sync works: the difference between master and publishing rights, one-stop clearances, exclusivity, MFN, and standard fee structures.
• A good musical ear and the instinct to match a track to a brief quickly.
• A self-starter who is comfortable doing outreach and owning a pipeline without hand-holding.
• Fluent English. Additional languages are a plus given our international roster.
Nice to have
• Contacts in advertising, film, TV, games, or trailers.
• Experience with production music libraries or sync services.
• Comfort with metadata and how clean data drives discovery.
