 POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager of Booking will be primarily responsible for overseeing and executing the booking strategy for Loew’s Jersey Theatre by bringing in world class events including concerts, comedy shows, sporting events, family shows, private rentals, and marquee special events. The Senior. Manager of Booking will work with HBSE programming department, and Loew’s General Manager to produce best in class booking practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:
•  Book revenue-generating business through promoters, production companies, and directly secure concerts, comedy shows, family shows, sporting events and other publicly ticketed events.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision makers in promoters, event producers, agents, and managers
• Create and pursue strategic programming partnership opportunities with 3rd parties to drive diverse programming
• Maintain strong relationship with clients during the coordination, execution, final settlement & evaluation stages of services
•  Develop and create new opportunities for self-owned and produced event concepts in collaboration with marketing, F&B, sponsorship, and production departments.
• Collaborate on programming budget in partnership with HBSE programming department and finance department
• Work closely with GM on monitoring staffing levels and event related expenses
•  Collaborate with head of food and beverage partner to maximize F&B revenue for events as required
• Collaborate with all department heads to streamline communication for any event needs
• Regularly communicate with marketing on way to innovate and continue to drive ticket sales and brand awareness for venue
• Stay current on industry trends involving popular artists appropriate for Loew’s Jersey Theatre
• Attend majority of events booked at Loew’s Jersey Theatre
• Co-chair programming meetings or other meetings as appropriate. 
• Attend industry conventions, trade shows and meetings e.g. Pollstar and other industry leading networking opportunities
• Collaborate with HBSE programming department to grow relationships across all HBSE properties
• Collaborate with community partners on local community and non-profit events
• Perform other duties as assigned. 
 QUALIFICATIONS:
• ** **Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 6-8 years of demonstrated sales and/or servicing event promoters experience, with related experience in theatres and concert venues
•  Ability to effectively communicate across a matrix organization
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with multiple projects and deadlines
• Must be available to work at events, including weekends/holidays
• Ability to take constructive criticism
• Must be able to excel under pressure
• Ability to work independently, and within a team environment
 WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
• Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from Loew’s Jersey Theatre, but attendance at events taking place at Loew’s Jersey Theatre or offsite at Prudential Center, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
• Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000/$130,000 year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
