Freelance social media manager responsible for day-to-day social publishing, short form content packaging, audience engagement, and platform growth across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and X.
Works closely with radio, TV, editorial, events, and talent teams to turn interviews, performances, artist moments, and cultural conversations into platform-first content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Packaging
• Turn interviews into Reels/TikToks/Shorts
• Write hooks, captions, titles, and thumbnail copy
• Identify strongest moments within long-form content
• Repackage radio and TV segments for social
Platform Management
• Schedule and publish content daily
• Optimize posting times/platform formatting
• Manage Stories and live event coverage
• Maintain consistent brand tone
Audience Growth
• Monitor trends and trending audio
• Create engagement-first concepts
• Surface fan conversation opportunities
• Develop repeatable content franchises
Artist & Event Coverage
• Capture backstage/social-first content
• Coordinate artist social moments
• Cover festivals, awards shows, and live events
• Create rapid turnaround edits onsite
Analytics & Reporting
• Weekly performance recap
• Top performing formats analysis
• Platform growth recommendations
• Watch time/retention tracking
