About Crowd Collabs
Crowd Collabs is a platform where fans design official merch for their favorite artists! Fans submit designs and artists approve the ones they love. Anytime someone buys the merch, we take care of the printing and shipping, then fan and artist split the profits!
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager / Content Creator to take ownership of how Crowd Collabs shows up online and help grow the brand across Instagram and TikTok.
The Role
This is a highly creative, hands-on role combining social strategy, content creation, brand building, and growth.
You’ll own our social presence from idea to execution: deciding what we should post, building the content calendar, creating the content, publishing it, and analyzing what works.
You’ll be the primary content creator for Crowd Collabs. That means filming and editing videos, creating graphics, introducing new artists, and highlighting merch on sale.
We’re not looking for someone who needs a list of posts to make each week. We want someone who can look at the business, our artists, upcoming merch, trends, and performance data and determine what Crowd Collabs should be talking about and how we should tell that story.
Social media will be your department.
Responsibilities
• Own the social strategy and content calendar for Crowd Collabs across Instagram and TikTok, developing a consistent mix of brand, artist, merch, design, and trend driven content.
• Create content from concept through publication, including ideation, filming, editing, writing copy, creating graphics, publishing, and adapting content for different platforms and formats.
• Showcase new fan-designed merch through graphics, static posts, stories, reels, and TikToks that highlight the product and drive clicks and sales.
• Develop repeatable content series and creative concepts that make Crowd Collabs recognizable, such as designing merch for artists, fan reactions, design challenges, new artist announcements, new product showcases, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Lead artist and merch launches on social, developing creative ways to announce new artists, introduce their Crowd Collabs pages, showcase new fan-designed merch, and continue promoting their products after launch.
• Coordinate social collaborations with artists and managers, including Instagram Collab posts, shared content, artist participation, reposting strategies, and making it easy for artist teams to amplify Crowd Collabs content.
• Build an active community around the platform, finding ways to involve artists, designers, fans, and customers in the content.
• Use performance data to drive strategy. Track which content generates reach, engagement, followers, website traffic, artist Linktree clicks, product page visits, and sales.
• Experiment constantly. Test different hooks, formats, posting styles, content series, calls-to-action, and creative ideas to understand what grows the brand and converts attention into action.
Who You Are
• You have strong instincts for what works on Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and short-form video
• You’re a content creator first, not someone who only schedules posts or manages a calendar
• You’re comfortable taking an idea from a rough concept to a finished piece of content independently
• You have strong video shooting and editing skills and understand how to hook viewers quickly
• You’re creative and consistently bring new concepts rather than waiting to be told what to make
• You understand music culture, fan culture, social trends, and internet culture
• You’re highly organized and can manage a content calendar, artist announcements, launches, and ongoing content at the same time
• You’re analytical and interested in what happens **after someone watches a video, **not just how many views it received
• You can connect social performance to measurable outcomes like website visits, Linktree clicks, product traffic, conversions, and sales
• You can work independently and make day-to-day creative decisions without needing founder approval on every post
• Graphic design skills are a major plus, especially experience creating polished social graphics and carousels
What Success Looks Like
