**Job Description **
This is an exciting role for a motivated self-starter with a passion for rock music at the top tier of the global music industry. The Digital Manager is responsible for leading social media strategy, content execution, and fan engagement for two major global hard rock recording artists. This role bridges high-level strategy with day-to-day execution, ensuring all digital efforts support overall marketing goals across all aspects of the artist’s scope of work including touring, releases and merchandise.
The Digital Manager will oversee day-to-day management of all artist social accounts, including posting cadence, scheduling, community management, and ongoing optimization. This position will also interact with fan pages to expand reach, activate communities, and increase social visibility. The management approach prioritizes diligence, consistency, responsiveness, and sustained audience growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and execute social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, YouTube Posts, etc.)
• Develop and manage content calendars aligned with campaign rollouts (touring, music releases, merchandise, partnerships, etc.)
• Work closely with artists, managers, internal teams, labels and artist partners on all artist campaigns
• Identify content opportunities across touring, studio, promotional, and day-to-day artist activities
• Lead the ideation and execution of innovative digital campaigns that drive fan engagement, growth, and conversion
• Monitor performance across platforms and provide insights based on analytics, trends
• Create recurring performance reports and provide strategic, actionable recommendations based on audience, engagement, and campaign data
• Optimize content strategy based on audience behavior, platform performance, and cultural trends
• Identify and capitalize on relevant cultural moments and band-specific moments (e.g. anniversaries) and trends to increase reach and engagement
• Execute quickly and efficiently, with the ability to turn around assignments and campaigns on tight timelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally (touring, publicity, label, partners) to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints
• Oversee fan engagement strategy, including community management and direct-to-fan initiatives (email/SMS growth, contests, social activations)
• Work with label partners to identify and lead on opportunities with influencers, creators, and digital partners.

Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the music industry required
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns at a high level (major global touring and recording artists)
• Deep understanding of the Rock landscape (hard rock, metal, classic rock), including fan behavior, culture, media, and current trends
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects from strategy through execution with minimal oversight
• Strong understanding of content strategy, platform algorithms, audience growth tactics, and fan engagement
• Experience managing artist or brand social accounts and building engaged communities
• Proficiency in analytics tools (native insights, Google Analytics, Spotify/streaming platforms) and back end for YouTube, Meta, Spotify For Artists, Chartmetric, etc.
• Strong content creation skills: approaching content creation through a marketing lens, focusing on the creative side of storytelling. Including short-form video, graphics, copywriting, and social-first storytelling
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace) and digital ecosystems
• Experience using marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Bandsintown, Laylo, etc.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail, spelling, and grammar
