ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the team behind The Hyphenate, a rising independent masked producer in the electronic and cinematic midtempo space.
With no label backing or paid promotion, his music has earned 3M+ Spotify streams, appeared in 400K+ organic creator videos across Instagram and TikTok, and reached listeners in 140+ countries. Now, we are building the world around the music.
We are a small, fast-moving team that takes the work seriously but has fun in the process. We are looking for someone kind, friendly, reliable, creative, and proactive who wants real hands-on music industry and social media content media experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will help grow The Hyphenate’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts by:

• Creating Reels, memes, editorial content, UGC-style clips, and trend-driven formats
• Filming behind-the-scenes content and editing with CapCut, Higgsfield, and similar tools
• Reaching out to creators and collaborators through professional DMs and follow-ups
• Identifying trends, memes, and cultural moments before they peak
• Pitching ideas and helping execute content quickly and consistently
• Assist at our monthly fan experience events and shows

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A current or recent high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who:

• Has a functioning laptop and reliable transportation
• Can work in person in Paramount at least 3 days per week
• Genuinely loves music, social media, and internet culture
• Is comfortable using-or quickly learning-AI and editing tools
• Understands UGC, creators, trends, and how content spreads
• Has strong creative instincts and can produce content at volume
• Communicates clearly, takes initiative, and does not require micromanagement
  You don't need to be an expert within the aforementioned abilities, but must have some basic knowledge. We do have experts on our team who will help you to learn and expand those skills.
  Your background can be in music, marketing, communications, film, digital media, or something completely different. We care more about your instincts, work ethic, and potential.

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
This is an unpaid educational internship designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience, including:

• Internship documentation for academic credit
• Direct mentorship in artist management, A&R, product management, content creation, and artist development
• Real world experience working with an experienced, independent music label and artist/content creator
• A detailed recommendation letter upon successful completion

• Potential consideration for a continued paid role as the team grows
