Because Music is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior A&R to join our Paris team. This role is designed for a highly connected and creative executive with 5 to 10 years of experience in the music industry, particularly in album production and artist development.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong and consistent track record of discovering and signing distinctive talent, shaping long-term artistic careers, and leading complete album production processes from creative vision to final delivery. They work closely with producers, songwriters, and cross-functional teams to craft high-impact, culturally resonant projects with both artistic integrity and commercial potential.
 Key Responsibilities
• Take over a roster of established Because Music’s heritage recording artists.
• Identify, scout, and sign emerging and established talent aligned with Because Music’s artistic vision.
• Lead and oversee the full album production process from concept to delivery.
• Develop long-term creative strategies for artists in collaboration with management teams.
• Coordinate recording sessions and select producers, songwriters, studios, and mixing/mastering engineers.
• Manage recording budgets and production timelines.
• Provide strong creative direction and constructive feedback throughout the creative process.
• Act as the key liaison between artists and internal departments (marketing, digital, promotion, international). 
Profile & Requirements
• 5–10 years of professional experience in the music industry, including substantial experience in album production.
• Deep understanding of the creative and technical aspects of music production.
• Strong network of producers, songwriters, engineers, and managers in France and internationally.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strategic thinker with strong artistic sensitivity and commercial awareness.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Based in Paris or willing to relocate.
