This person will work closely with the Accounting team to manage the financial life cycle of our artists’ tours.
Responsibilities include:
• Liaising with Promoters to ensure the timely remittance of all requested deposits, and settlements.
• Managing the logging of received deposits in the ROAM booking system and Quickbooks.
• Creating and distributing reporting to the agent and artist teams to update them on the contract and deposit status of their tours.
• Issuing invoices and tax documentation to promoters as requested.
• Other accounting projects as needed, which could include:
• uploading / notating CWAs, tax docs, etc. in opus
• distributing state withholding waivers to promoters (non-CWA)
• updating artist wire information in opus + statement templates
• uploading new w9s and updating opus + statement templates
• sending missing tax document requests
• Input of settlements to ROAM systems.
Ideal candidates possess the following:
• The ability to manage several concurrent projects with an aptitude for detail and effectively reprioritize tasks as needed, in a high volume and time-sensitive environment.
• An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel and Word;
• Knowledge of performance deals, and basic accounting best practices;
• Strong math skills;
• A healthy sense of self-motivation, strong organizational skills and a professional manner.
