Sketch is a modern music company operating a record label, marketing agency, and publishing arm, built for how music actually breaks on the internet. We're looking for someone to run the publishing capture side of the business - finding artists who don't have their publishing signed, closing the deals, and getting songs properly registered with our publishing administrator.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING **
● Identify and outreach to both Sketch-released and non-released artists
● Negotiate and close publishing deals - DMs, calls, quick clean agreements
● Register signed artists and works with our publishing administrator; keep metadata and docs accurate
● Own a monthly signing target and report on pipeline + backlog
● Build relationships in the music scene to identify new signing opportunities beyond the current roster
● Work with outside partners and bring sync and roster opportunities to the table
● Coordinate with team on writers camps and other roster opportunities
**WHO THIS IS FOR **
● 2–3 years of experience in publishing admin or A&R at a label or music publishing company
● Understands the basics of pub deals - splits, registration, admin
● Comfortable closing deals not just processing paperwork
● Organized enough to run a real pipeline without supervision
● Genuine interest in the emerging electronic scene is a strong plus
**LOCATION **
● Miami preferred - office opened recently in Wynwood
● Hybrid / flexible / remote OK
**GOOD TO KNOW **
● You'll run this lane, not support someone else running it
● Comp includes a strong bonus tied directly to artists signed and onboarded
● We’re a lean, hungry team with high standards and real momentum
● The pace is fast, the hours can be long, and expectations are high, but so is the upside
● We’re expanding rapidly into new genres and markets
● Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
● We are a close knit group of music lovers that take the work seriously, but we like to have fun
