ABOUT REBELLION
Rebellion Records is one of the fastest-growing independent music companies in the world. Headquartered in SoHo, NYC, we sign and invest in artists with the discipline of an investment firm and the speed of a startup.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Intern to join our Project Management team. Based out of our NYC HQ, this role supports release campaigns across our artist roster, from tracking timelines and assets to coordinating between the label, artists and partners, making sure every release goes out on time and set up for success. You’ll get a hands-on look at how a fast-moving independent label uses data and creative strategy to grow artists.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Help track release schedules, deadlines and deliverables across multiple artist projects
• Assist in gathering, organizing and delivering release assets (audio, artwork, metadata, credits) to our distribution partners
• Support communication between the label, artists, managers and partners
• Provide general administrative support to the Project Management team on day-to-day release workflows
WHO YOU ARE
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program
• Based in NYC and available to work from our SoHo office ~20 hours per week
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• High-output and reliable, comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines
• Passionate about music and how labels make smart, data-driven decisions
THE ENVIRONMENT
This is a fast-paced, high-accountability internship. You’ll work from our SoHo NYC headquarters alongside a team that moves fast and holds a high bar. Your work goes straight into real releases, and the details matter. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student interested in the business side of music who has a sharp eye for detail and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
