Knockdown Center is seeking an experienced Production Gear & Boneyard Coordinator to assist in the upkeep, inventory, and maintenance of house gear, across the venue's busy calendar of live and electronic events.
Key Responsibilities
• Track, clean, and organize all Audio and Lighting production inventory, including both durable and consumable items.
• Pull decking supplies from the boneyard in advance of show builds.
• Liaise with the Production Manager on rental orders to ensure all equipment needs are met.
• Track and coordinate the off-site repair of DJ backline equipment.
• Prepare equipment and logistics for lighting builds.
• Supervise the commissioning and decommissioning of the outdoor seasonal venue.
• Directing and supervising local staff as assigned.
Required Experience
• 5 years experience in a hands-on production roles.
• Local to the five boroughs.
• Computer proficiency for inventory management and scheduling systems
Preferred Experience and Certifications
• Experience and interest in production equipment maintenance would be a bonus.
• Experience with the Staging Concepts decking system.
• Forklift, scissor lift experience a bonus
• Independent worker necessary
• Drivers License
• Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment, with many various stakeholders
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Production Manager.
Collaboration: Works closely with the House LD and Audio Lead.
Schedule: 4 weekdays per week and Flexible 1 weekend day shift as assigned.
Pay Range: $36.50 - $40 per hour, based on experience.
This position is physically demanding and requires hands on/heavy lifting
