Monotone, an artist management company based in Los Angeles, is looking for a smart, organized and personable Part-Time Office Coordinator to help keep our LA office running smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in music, entertainment or the creative industries who is looking for a consistent part-time position in a busy but relaxed office environment.
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, spread across 5 weekdays. This is an in-person position at our Los Angeles office.
What You'll Do:
• Help manage the day-to-day needs of the office
• Receive and organize mail, packages and deliveries
• Order and maintain office, kitchen and general supplies
• Help coordinate vendors, repairs and office maintenance
• Keep common areas organized and running smoothly
• Assist with occasional errands and special projects
• Provide light administrative support to the management team
• Help with expenses, shipping, reservations and other basic office needs as needed
• Generally be the person who notices when something needs to get done and helps get it done
Who We're Looking For:
We’re less concerned with a specific resume and more interested in finding the right person.
You are:
• Organized, responsible and detail-oriented
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with a wide range of people
• Proactive and good at figuring things out
• Comfortable working independently
• Reliable and punctual
• Familiar with basic office technology and Google Workspace
• Interested in music, entertainment, art or other creative fields
This could be an especially good fit for a college student with a lighter class schedule, a recent graduate, or someone pursuing a creative career who is looking for steady part-time work.
Previous office or administrative experience is helpful, but not required.
**Compensation: **$25 / hour, depending on experience.
