Part-Time Artist Assistant + Social Content Creator
Part time
Remote • Los Angeles, CA, USA
Category: Artist Management
An established artist management team is hiring a part-time assistant to support a rising artist currently recording a major-label album and building the marketing rollout. This is a hands-on, in-person role based in the Los Angeles area. You'll be in the studio, on set, and in the room, helping a hugely talented creative stay focused, organized, and moving forward through a demanding stretch.
We're looking for someone who is equal parts organized right-hand and creative content mind. Half the job is keeping the artist on track: managing the daily schedule, prepping for sessions and shoots, running logistics, and protecting the timeline so deadlines don't slip. The other half is capturing and shaping the story; filming behind-the-scenes moments, pitching social ideas, and turning the everyday process of making an album into content that grows the audience.
What you'll do
• Keep the artist focused and on schedule across studio sessions, meetings, and marketing commitments
• Anticipate needs and handle day-to-day logistics, prep, and errands
• Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video in the studio and on set
• Ideate and pitch short-form content concepts (TikTok, Reels) in the artist's voice and current with the culture
• Draft, schedule, and maintain a steady posting rhythm across platforms
• Track content and marketing deliverables and flag anything at risk of slipping
Who you are
• Based in the LA area and able to work in person on a flexible part-time schedule (some evenings and weekends as sessions require)
• Genuinely fluent in social media. You know what makes content perform and can move fast on trends
• Deeply plugged into niche internet culture, with a finger on the pulse of memes, subcultures, and emerging trends before they hit the mainstream
• Someone who lives on TikTok, Reels, and X, and can spot a moment the artist should jump on the same day it breaks
• Comfortable shooting and lightly editing short-form video on a phone
• Calm, discreet, and dependable, able to work closely with creative talent and hold a soft but steady line on focus and deadlines
• Highly organized and proactive, unbothered by the unpredictable rhythm of music production
• College student is OK.
Nice to have
• Prior experience assisting an artist, creator, or public figure
• A track record of growing a social account or making content that traveled
• Basic editing chops (CapCut, Premiere, Lightroom)
Details
• Part-time, in-person (Los Angeles area)
• Compensation: $20 hr, roughly **15-20 **hrs per week.
• Start: ASAP
To apply, send a short note on why this role fits you, along with examples of content you've made or accounts you've helped grow. Reels, edits, and links are welcome and encouraged.
