Waxploitation is seeking a motivated college student (preferably pursuing a Music Business, Entertainment, Communications, or related degree) to join our team as a Paid Intern. Starting now or starting when new school term begins. This role provides hands-on learning across multiple areas of the modern music industry, including:
What You’ll Learn & Do
• A&R research, scouting new artists, and music discovery
• Creative coordination: playlists, visual asset organization, social content
• Sync rights fundamentals and licensing support
• Artist and song metadata entry (PPL, SoundExchange, etc.)
• Administrative tasks to support releases and campaigns
• Project and marketing support across multiple active artists
We’d Love If You
• Are passionate about new music, emerging artists, and artist development
• Have strong communication and research skills
• Are organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Are comfortable working with spreadsheets and creative tools
• Can work 5-10 hours per week (flexible with school schedules)
