21st Century Artists is hiring an office assistant for our NYC office. We are a busy, medium-small sized artist management company that is looking for hardworking, organized, and reliable candidates. As the office assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in a variety of day-to-day company operations, including answering the phones, ordering office supplies, handling mail, tracking and organizing contracts, researching travel arrangements, managing client social media and more.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is interested in learning about all aspects of the music business and has a strong ability to listen and stay organized. We are looking for someone who is a team player and can work well across the organization.
Position Details
• Work closely with the head of operations to keep the office, and company Google Drive organized and efficient.
• Answer inbound phone calls, take messages, and forward calls.
• Sort, track, and distribute incoming mail and email.
• Track and organize a high volume of contracts and deal points.
• Coordinate review and approval of tour related contracts, marketing and more.
• Update concert listings for clients online and help coordinate social media.
• Assist the CEO with personal errands.
Job Requirements:
• Strong experience with Google Drive, Docs and Sheets.
• Strong reading, writing and email skills for professional, business settings.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize tasks and stay calm under pressure.
• Strong follow-up and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and organizational abilities
• Proactive worker, but eager to ask questions when in doubt.
• Comfortable working in-office 5 days a week
• Experience working with PDFs, photo files, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus
• Ability to lift 35-40 lbs for occasional help moving things in the office.
