BLCKJEANS MGMT is seeking a passionate and motivated **Music Management Intern **for Fall 2026. This is an opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience working behind the scenes in the music industry while supporting a growing roster of artists and learning the day-to-day operations of artist management.
BLCKJEANS MGMT works with artists across alternative, goth, indie, and rock, helping guide careers through touring, releases, marketing, partnerships, and long-term artist development.
The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, curious, creative, and excited to learn how artists build careers in today’s music landscape. This role is designed for a student looking to gain real-world experience across artist management, marketing, touring, research, and artist development.
We understand that internships are about learning, and we will provide training and guidance across many aspects of the role. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, curiosity, and a genuine interest in music who is excited to learn.
**Position Details **
• Fall 2026 Internship
• 10–15 hours per week
• College credit required
• Small stipend provided in addition to college credit
• Open to current college students only
• This internship is remote, with the potential for occasional in-person opportunities in NYC for candidates who are interested.
**Responsibilities **
• Assist with day-to-day artist management tasks
• Support release campaigns, marketing initiatives, and promotional efforts
• Help organize artist assets, schedules, and project materials
• Assist with tour/show coordination and advancing
• Help onsite at shows and events when needed (location permitting)
• Research industry opportunities, partnerships, media outlets, and growth opportunities
• Build and maintain databases through self-directed industry research
• Support social media and digital strategy efforts
• Assist with administrative tasks and internal organization
• Participate in creative brainstorming around artist development and promotion
**Qualifications **
• Current college student receiving academic credit for the internship
• Passion for music and interest in the music industry
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Excellent written communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools
• Experience with graphic design is a plus
