The Circuit Group is a leading music industry company operating across artist management, catalog acquisitions, publishing, and investor relations. We move fast, think big, and are actively deploying capital to acquire and grow music catalogs with long-term value.
We're looking for a sharp, deal-driven M&A Manager to lead and support catalog acquisition activity from sourcing through close. You'll work directly with senior leadership on a high-volume pipeline, evaluating opportunities, running due diligence, and helping us deploy capital efficiently and strategically.
What You'll Do
• Evaluate music catalog acquisition opportunities across artist catalogs, master recordings, publishing rights, and songwriter catalogs
• Build and maintain financial models to assess catalog value, royalty performance, and deal structure
• Lead due diligence processes including rights verification, revenue analysis, and legal coordination
• Manage the full deal lifecycle from initial outreach through LOI, negotiation, and close
• Maintain our deal pipeline and reporting systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date deal tracking
• Build relationships with artists, managers, estate representatives, publishers, and brokers
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and management teams on deal structuring and integration
What You Bring
• 1+ years of M&A experience, ideally within music, entertainment, or media
• Some exposure to music catalog acquisitions — master recordings and/or publishing rights preferred
• Strong financial modeling skills; comfortable analyzing royalty income streams and catalog multiples
• Understanding of music licensing, copyright, and royalty structures (mechanical, performance, sync)
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
• Experience with deal tracking tools and CRM systems a plus
