First Look
The Marketing Director is responsible for leading ATG Media’s marketing operations and strategic direction, overseeing client relationships, business development, and team performance across all campaign verticals.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a leader who can combine creative vision with operational rigor. The Director will play a key role in strengthening ATG Media’s position as a market leader in music marketing while expanding into adjacent industries such as entertainment, lifestyle, and consumer brands.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership
• Drive ATG Media’s positioning as an industry leader in music and entertainment marketing through innovation, performance, and client success.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the agency’s current portfolio beyond entertainment into broader cultural and brand partnerships.
• Lead business development initiatives—from outreach to negotiation and deal closure—ensuring growth across existing and emerging service lines.
• Partner with ATG Group leadership to develop strategies that align with company-wide goals, profitability targets, and long-term growth initiatives.
• Recruit, manage, and mentor high-performing talent across all levels of the marketing organization.
Team & Operational Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations across influencer, seeding, and digital marketing teams, ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment.
• Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability measures across departments to drive consistent delivery and performance.
• Optimize workflows, systems, and processes to enhance output and maintain operational excellence.
• Intervene when necessary to resolve campaign or personnel challenges, ensuring swift, effective solutions.
• Cultivate a collaborative, performance-driven culture grounded in creativity, clarity, and accountability.
Client & Partner Relations
• Serve as a senior point of contact for key client relationships, maintaining deep knowledge of each partner’s brand, objectives, and creative direction.
• Provide strategic oversight for campaigns, ensuring all creative and executional work meets client standards and aligns with brand goals.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with external agencies, platforms, and talent partners.
• Collaborate across ATG’s Media, Music, Talent, and Ventures divisions to develop integrated campaigns and cross-company initiatives.
Innovation & Market Development
• Stay ahead of digital trends, emerging technologies, and platform innovations, ensuring ATG Media remains at the forefront of marketing evolution.
• Develop and refine new service offerings to meet evolving client and market needs.
• Use insights, analytics, and performance data to guide strategy and optimize campaign outcomes.
• Champion creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement across all levels of the department.
What You’ll Bring
• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing in the music industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing multi-platform campaigns for artists, brands, or media properties.
• Strong business development experience, including client acquisition and retention.
• Deep understanding of the social and influencer marketing landscape, including platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
