About the Role
We're hiring a Manager, Creative Marketing to be the creative vision and engine behind our artists' content and storytelling. Someone who can sit with an artist, understand their vision, come up with genuinely great ideas, and help execute them. This isn't a pure strategist role, not solely content. We want someone who can ideally do both: dream up what a world should look like across short-form, artwork, multicam, performance, official music videos, experiential, fan events, merch design, social platforms, and the latest formats/platforms where people consume content, and then help execute it.
You'll think about what makes a TikTok really stand out, what rollout ideas have never been done before, what a microsite needs to do that a link-in-bio can't, what single artwork can best represent the world the artist is building, what elevates a video from the usual algorithm-fodder to something that feels new and exciting and represents our artists’ vision. Then you'll help bring it to life, whether that’s knowing the right designers, videographers and directors or having a level of self-sufficiency where you work in lock step with our artists and can help create and execute the more day to day deliverables for campaigns.
What You'll Do
Idea, Strategy & Direction
• Partner directly with artists and internal teams to develop original, platform-specific content and assets for every release and campaign moment.
• Build out content concepts across formats e.g shortform content, stills photograph and social branding
• Push for out-of-the-box thinking rather than defaulting to what's already been done
• Map content and campaign timelines against release schedules, working closely with A&R, digital, and artist teams
• Provide creative and art direction on shoots - looks, locations, styling, and overall treatment
Hands-On Execution
• Have the ability and interest to shoot content yourself when needed - from scrappy iPhone short-form to more elevated multicam or stills opportunities
• Help produce official music videos and larger shoots, bringing in outside directors, DPs, or editors when the project calls for it
• Edit or oversee editing of short-form content for fast, always-on turnaround
• Scope, hire, and manage freelance crews for bigger productions when the work goes beyond a one-person job
What You Bring
• 3-5+ years in creative, content, or artist marketing
• Creative and execution: a portfolio that shows both sides of the job: ideas you conceived and content you actually shot, directed, or produced - we are happy for the former to be more comprehensive than the latter
• Real fluency in short-form platforms - you can articulate what makes TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube content resonate with different audiences, not just post the same video to all three
• Comfort working scrappy (iPhone, solo, fast) and comfort working elevated on shoots or executing on ideas
• Working knowledge of basic video editing tools (e.g., Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).
• A self-starter mentality - low ego, comfortable without a big crew behind them, energized by figuring it out and obsessed with delivering results
• Strong collaborator who can take an artist's raw vibe and turn it into a clear creative direction and strategy
Nice to Have
• Photography, motion graphics, or light design skills
• Existing relationships with directors, photographers, designers, DPs, editors, and other creative freelancers in music or entertainment
