**About the role: **The Junior A&R/Assistant will be part of Electric Feel’s London team and will report to the Head of
A&R. He or she has an expansive network within the music industry and knows how to use it. He or she will focus on
inviting new and established artists to our London office & studio ensuring professional relationship management,
and additionally, be involved with EF’s invites and events.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
● Scout and sign talented artists, producers & songwriters
● Support the Executive Leadership Team on creative development of artists and writers
● Track playlists, streaming charts, and industry news to surface new signings and collaboration
opportunities
● Establish strategic collaborations — co-writes, sessions, features, remixes, cuts
● Identify existing Electric Feel songs with upside and drive the creative pitch process
● Coordinate with management and publishing on client scheduling
● Maintain and grow relationships across the Electric Feel roster and partner network
● Source artists, writers, producers, topliners, and remixers who raise the bar on our releases
● Leverage industry connections to match the right collaborators to the right projects
● Track and relay relevant details to accounting
Qualifications
● At least three to five years of qualifying work experience in a similar role
● You are extremely passionate about music
● You know all there is to know about music and Electric Feel, and you are extremely knowledgeable about
the discographies of relevant artists and catalogs from many other labels worldwide
● You know all about the main music distribution partners (from physical distribution to digital distribution and
streaming)
● You know how record labels operate, especially in terms of product marketing, business occasions, A&R
administration and more
● You’re able to cope with pressure and changing deadlines extremely well; you’re able to keep your head
straight while working on multiple projects at the same time
● You love working in tandem with all of the company’s different departments to get results fast
