Social Media & Content Intern — 22SOUNDS (Los Angeles)
22SOUNDS is an independent, artist-first creative and management company built from the ground up. Our work spans artist development, live, content, and strategy, with projects across afro and electronic music. We’re looking for a creative, self-starting intern to help build and execute social content. This is a hands-on role, you'll be in the studio, at the show, and behind the camera.
What you'll do:
• Brainstorm and pitch short-form content ideas across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Attend live shows, rehearsals, and studio sessions to capture BTS, performance, and day-in-the-life content
• Plan and execute shoots for campaign-specific short-form videos
• Edit and deliver content on a consistent posting schedule
• Build and maintain content calendars around releases, tours, and key moments
• Set growth targets in collaboration with management and the artist, and report on progress regularly
• Monitor platform performance and use data to inform what gets made next
• Stay ahead of trends and bring new ideas unprompted
What we're looking for:
• Based in Los Angeles (in-person, with travel to shows)
• International travel may be required, from time to time.
• Obsessed with short-form video - you know what stops a scroll
• Comfortable shooting handheld in live environments (low light, fast-moving, no second takes)
• Basic to solid editing skills
• Organised enough to hit deadlines and posting windows consistently
• Genuine passion for music and the industry behind it
• Proactive, low-ego, hungry to learn
Bonus points for:
• Experience shooting artist or live event content
• Adobe Creative Cloud skills
• A feel for authentic, lo-fi content alongside polished campaign assets
Interested? Please send your CV and a portfolio of relevant work to intern@22sounds.com. A simple link works fine: Google Drive folder, Linktree, Notion page, whatever you use. We just want to see what you've made.
