Frame Artists
Innovative Marketing Strategist
Full time
Onsite • London, England, United Kingdom
Category: Artist Management
About the Role
Frame Artists is a music management company rooted in electronic music. We’re hiring an Innovative Marketing Strategist: someone who can look at an artist’s campaign, immediately see what’s missing, bring exciting ideas to the table, and create moments that will cut through.
You will work across our roster as an experienced marketing resource for our artists and managers. You will be expected to interrogate campaign strategies, push the standard of marketing practices, bring a constant flow of ideas, and know exactly when and where to spend to maximise impact.
This is a strategy and ideas role, not a day-to-day social media or content management position. It is perfect for an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to make their mark on the music industry. We are considering experienced candidates of different levels for this role, however proven campaign marketing experience (either within music or overlapping cultural industries) is a requirement. This is not an entry level role. Salary in-line with experience.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Ideas
• Work alongside managers at Frame as an experienced campaign strategist. Advise on marketing campaigns & roll outs for our roster across all areas of their business; releases, events, event brands, pop-ups, merchandise, podcasts, live streams, brand partnerships, special projects and ongoing artist development.
• Identify gaps in marketing plans, add high-impact ideas and bring a relentless flow of creative marketing ideas to every campaign. Your job is to find the moments that cut through.
• Manage campaigns end-to-end when required, from concept through to execution and analysis.
• Know when to spend and when to hold back, owning campaign budgets and making smart allocation decisions that maximise ROI.
• Oversee creative quality across the roster, ensuring visual output meets the standard. Commission external agencies, freelancers, and creative teams when needed.
Digital
• Have a deep understanding of digital marketing: how to harness a pre-existing network to build a campaign and how to use a campaign to grow an artist's audience.
• Have experience of running and briefing paid media & social advertising campaigns. This role requires the hands-on running of ad campaigns across multiple moments for the roster.
• Analyse campaign data to inform decisions in real time & predictively, not retrospectively.
• Use audience insights and analytics to shape strategy, targeting, and creative direction across the roster; use data to find what’s working and double down.
• Report on campaign performance with clarity, connecting spend to outcomes and recommending next steps.
• Make strategic decisions on fanbase segmentation & utilise community tools to activate and engage communities around campaigns.
Creator & Viral Content Strategy
• Lead Frame’s Cobrand - building layered creator and amplification networks per artist & campaign.
• Engineer viral content strategies and seeding plans that extend reach beyond existing audiences & power campaigns success.
• Oversee fan page networks for all artists on the roster, recommending the appropriate technology or human resource to ensure they can reach their full potential.
• Recruit support (interns or freelancers) to scale Cobrand and creator list-building across the full roster.
Innovation & AI
• Harness key AI platforms to improve data analysis and marketing strategy across the roster. Stay ahead of new technology and understand which platforms will help to grow the company's ability to manage marketing efficiently and effectively in-house.
• Use AI tools daily to improve ideation, audience analysis, reporting, automation, and embed those methods across the team.
• Proactively introduce marketing techniques we don't currently utilise: new ad formats, emerging platform mechanics, UGC strategies, creator-led activations.
What We’re Looking For
• We are considering experienced candidates of different levels for this role, however proven campaign marketing experience is a requirement - this is not an entry level role.
• Experience could come from either inside music (eg management company, major label, successful indie, distributor, marketing agency), or outside of music in a relevant cultural crossover space, such as brands, marketing agencies, culture, fashion etc.
• Someone who is inspired and obsessed with how the creative arts combine and has the ability to pinpoint what is culturally hot, relevant and forward thinking.
• A deep, fluent understanding of digital and social platforms. Not solely using these as channels, but as a core tool to measure modern campaigns, how they are built and their impact.
• An entrepreneurial mindset: this is an opportunity to grow in a role within a small but thriving company, not a corporate structure.
• Proven experience running paid media and social advertising campaigns with measurable results.
• Strong analytical skills: using data to make decisions, optimise spend, and identify opportunities.
• A constant stream of ideas: you know how to create moments that cut through and can showcase examples where you have previously done this.
• Experience with creator strategy, and building amplification networks.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and make smart spend decisions under pressure.
• Experience managing campaigns end-to-end, from strategy through execution and post-campaign analysis.
• Confident managing external teams, agencies, and record labels, with your own freelance network to draw on.
• Aptitude and desire to use AI tools to improve marketing output.
• Background at a culturally credible organisation preferred.
• A passion for electronic music.
• Leadership mindset, leads, sets standards, doesn’t need to be managed.
What We Offer
• Competitive salary, depending on experience.
• Company perks.
• A clear career path to grow within the company and fast track career growth as the company grows.
• An opportunity to be embedded into music culture working with artists directly, to travel and experience events.
• Real ownership — your ideas will shape how we work.
• A tight-knit, creative team that moves fast and takes the work seriously.
• Direct involvement in breaking artists from underground to mainstream.
