About Infinite Music
Infinite Music is a tech-forward music distribution and publishing company built for the independent artist. We've helped 100+ artists generate over 5 billion streams and put more than $10 million directly into their pockets, all while helping them stay in control of their careers and their art.
We're active partners, offering hands-on support across distribution, publishing, marketing, and business development. We're not just a platform. We're a team that's deeply rooted in the culture and genuinely invested in the talent we work with.
The Opportunity
We're hiring a Head of Marketing to lead marketing strategy and execution within our in-house agency, which serves as the central marketing engine across Infinite Music's portfolio of companies. Rooted in the music industry and actively expanding into new verticals, we're building something that goes well beyond a traditional music company. You'll be responsible for creating and executing campaigns across our products, services, and client projects and at times, representing the company in client or partner meetings to present campaign strategies and walk through how our services will be executed.
As a leadership position, this role sits at the intersection of multiple functions. You'll work cross-functionally with our Tech, Distribution, Sales, and Social Media departments to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and that each team has what they need to operate effectively.
This is not a role for someone looking for a static playbook. Our business is growing and evolving, which means the right person brings structure to new situations rather than waiting for it. You're energized by complex problems, comfortable working across industries, and always looking for smarter ways to get results. If you do your best work when there's room to build and lead, this is that opportunity.
What You’ll Do
• Lead marketing strategy across existing and future business verticals, crafting campaigns and messaging tailored to both B2C and B2B audiences.
• Build the marketing playbook for launching new verticals as Infinite Music expands, owning everything from positioning to first-campaign execution.
• Direct a strategy to launch and maintain lead generation funnels grounded in organic growth: building traffic and community first, then layering in paid amplification to scale what's working.
• Establish KPIs, manage the marketing tech stack, and deliver clear performance reporting to leadership, ultimately connecting marketing activity directly to pipeline.
• Define Infinite Music's brand positioning and direct a content and social strategy grounded in value-led storytelling, educating target clients on what we offer, with lead generation as the north star.
• Build and maintain high-conversion sales assets (pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and landing pages) that equip the Sales and A&R teams to move prospects through the pipeline faster.
• Identify and manage industry sponsorships, conference activations, and strategic partnerships, ensuring every activation has a clear lead-capture mechanism and measurable ROI.
• Manage and nurture vendor relationships.
• Work directly with clients on active projects, serving as the marketing lead responsible for translating campaign strategies into clear direction and ensuring execution aligns with client expectations.
• Work cross-functionally with the distribution, sales, and social media departments to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
What You’ll Bring
• 5 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing — ideally in a music, entertainment, or SaaS context.
• Proven track record of driving measurable client or customer acquisition through multi-channel campaigns, with clear accountability for performance metrics.
• Hands-on experience managing paid media across search, social, and display channels, including budget management and ROI accountability.
• Strong understanding of both B2C and B2B marketing dynamics. You know that an independent artist and an independent label require different messaging and different journeys.
• Experience building or optimizing a marketing tech stack including CRM platforms, email automation, analytics tools, and ad platforms.
• Excellent written communication; you can write a compelling campaign brief, a punchy ad, and a clear executive summary.
• Comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving environment where you’ll be both a strategist and an executor.
• A tech-forward mindset; you stay current on emerging marketing tools, AI-powered workflows, and platform changes, and you're quick to test and adopt what moves the needle.
• Data-driven decision-making. You set KPIs, measure what matters, and don’t confuse activity with results.
• A genuine appetite for learning new industries and markets quickly, and building effective marketing strategies in unfamiliar territory.
Nice to Have
• Experience using AI tools for workflow automation, content creation, or campaign optimization.
• Familiarity with music industry tools and platforms (DistroKid, TuneCore, Spotify for Artists, etc.) and how independent artists interact with them.
• Experience developing or contributing to go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products, services, or business verticals.
Compensation Details
• 90,000–$120,000
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k)
• Flexible PTO
• Fully Remote
