Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Music Producer / Ghost Producer to join Groove Music on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in recreating songs from scratch, producing professional-quality remakes, working with both AI and real vocals, and delivering production that is commercially competitive and release-ready.
This is a hands-on production role for someone who can take a reference track and rebuild its instrumental, arrangement, sound design, and vocals with a high level of accuracy while also bringing their own professional production judgment to the project.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce high-quality ghost productions and remakes based on reference tracks.
• Recreate songs from scratch, including drums, bass, melodies, harmonies, synths, effects, arrangements, and overall sound design.
• Recreate or rebuild individual stems and instrumental elements without relying exclusively on AI.
• Generate, edit, process, and fine-tune AI vocals to achieve natural, professional-sounding results.
• Work with real vocalists when required and produce, edit, tune, and process their recordings.
• Match the energy, arrangement, structure, and overall sonic character of a reference track.
• Use professional mixing and production techniques to ensure tracks are clean, balanced, and commercially competitive.
• Make creative production decisions while maintaining the core identity and requirements of each project.
• Deliver organized sessions, stems, instrumentals, vocals, and final mixes according to Groove Music's specifications.
• Collaborate with the label's team and respond efficiently to revisions and creative feedback.
• Stay up to date with modern music-production techniques, AI vocal technology, plugins, and industry trends.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of professional music-production experience.
• Proven experience as a ghost producer.
• Advanced knowledge of modern music production and DAWs such as FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, or similar.
• Strong ability to recreate songs from scratch by ear and/or through detailed reference analysis.
• Strong understanding of music theory, arrangement, sound design, mixing, and mastering.
• Demonstrated experience working with AI vocal generation and processing.
• Ability to create convincing AI vocals that sound natural and fit the production.
• Ability to recreate stems and instrumental parts manually/non-AI when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and an excellent ear for identifying sounds, melodies, harmonies, effects, timing, and production techniques.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
• Professional communication and willingness to work through revisions.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with commercial pop, electronic, dance, R&B, and/or contemporary music.
• Experience recreating or reimagining popular songs.
• Advanced vocal editing and tuning skills.
• Experience with tools such as Melodyne, Auto-Tune, Kontakt, Serum, Omnisphere, and other professional production software.
• Familiarity with current AI music and vocal-generation technologies.
• Strong understanding of modern streaming-oriented production and loudness standards.
