Elizabeth Music Group is seeking a motivated Client Acquisition A&R to help expand the roster of Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties by identifying and signing established music producers with significant major-label production credits.
This is a client acquisition and relationship-building position designed for someone who understands the music industry, knows how to research producer credits and streaming performance, and is confident reaching out to successful producers about their royalty rights.
Who You Will Be Recruiting
The primary focus of this position is music producers with major-label placements and commercially successful production catalogs.
We are specifically looking to connect with producers who have credits on records generating significant streaming activity, with an emphasis on producers whose catalog or qualifying placements have generated 50 million streams or more.
Prospects may include producers working across hip-hop, R&B, pop, Afrobeats, Latin, dance, and other commercially successful genres and markets.
Responsibilities
As a Client Acquisition A&R, you will be responsible for managing the acquisition process from prospect discovery through signing.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Researching music producers with major-label and commercially successful production credits.
• Identifying producers connected to records with 50M+ streams and other significant commercial activity.
• Researching producer catalogs, credits, streaming performance, and potential master royalty opportunities.
• Finding appropriate contact information for producers or their representatives.
• Conducting direct outreach to qualified prospects.
• Introducing producers to Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties and explaining our services.
• Following up with prospects and answering questions throughout the acquisition process alongside the CEO and founder Zachary Michael.
• Working directly with qualified producers to move them from initial outreach to becoming contracted Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties clients.
• Maintaining organized records of prospects, outreach, conversations, follow-ups, and signed clients.
• Developing your own pipeline of high-value producer prospects.
Compensation
This is a commission-only position.
Compensation is tied directly to the master royalties generated by the clients you successfully acquire for Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties.
Rather than receiving a one-time payment simply for signing a client, your earning potential is connected to the amount of master royalties collected from the clients you bring into the company.
This structure rewards A&Rs for identifying strong catalogs and developing client relationships that create long-term value.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate understands both the creative and business sides of the music industry.
You should be comfortable researching music credits, evaluating producer catalogs, identifying successful records, finding decision-makers, conducting cold outreach, following up consistently, and building professional relationships with established music producers.
Experience in A&R, music publishing, master royalties, artist management, producer management, record labels, music business development, sales, or client acquisition is strongly preferred.
Existing relationships with producers, managers, or other music-industry professionals can be particularly valuable in this role.
What Success Looks Like
Success is not measured simply by the number of producers contacted.
The objective is to identify, contact, and contract high-quality producers with valuable catalogs who are strong candidates for Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties.
A successful Client Acquisition A&R will consistently build a pipeline of qualified producers, develop relationships with prospects, convert those relationships into signed clients, and ultimately contribute master royalty revenue to Elizabeth Music Group.
About Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties
Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties is a dedicated royalty collection service built to help music producers and other rights holders identify, register, track, and collect master royalties they are owed from their recordings.
For producers with major-label placements, getting paid an upfront producer or beat advance does not necessarily mean they have received everything they are entitled to. Depending on their agreements, producers may also have master royalty points that can generate additional income as their records earn revenue and applicable recoupment requirements are satisfied.
Elizabeth Music Group Master Royalties helps manage the process from beginning to end. Our team reviews producer catalogs and agreements, identifies potential master royalty opportunities, organizes metadata and ownership information, registers eligible royalty interests with record labels and royalty systems, communicates directly with label royalty departments, submits required documentation, follows up on outstanding royalty inquiries, and works to collect eligible royalties on behalf of our clients.
When a producer has a major placement but never finalized an agreement, Elizabeth Music Group may also assist with record clearance and facilitating an agreement establishing the producer's master royalty participation before beginning the collection process.

As a Client Acquisition A&R, you will help us identify successful producers who may be leaving significant master royalty income uncollected, introduce them to our services, and turn those relationships into long-term Elizabeth Music Group clients.
