This role will work closely with the founders and senior leadership to unlock new revenue streams, expand brand reach, and create meaningful, authentic partnerships that enhance our shows and fan experience.
This is a highly relationship-driven, deal-oriented role. Your work will directly impact top-line revenue, brand visibility, and long-term growth across hundreds of events per year in the US and internationally. Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a partnerships strategy across Burwoodland brands, including Emo Night Brooklyn, Gimme Gimme Disco, Broadway Rave, and more
• Identify, pitch, and close new brand, media, and strategic partnerships, including sponsorships, integrations, and experiential activations
• Manage partner relationships end-to-end, from initial deal structure through execution, reporting, and renewal
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure partnerships are integrated seamlessly into shows and campaigns
• Create partnership decks, proposals, and custom concepts tailored to prospective partners
• Track partnership revenue, deliverables, and performance, and report results to leadership
• Represent Burwoodland externally with brands, agencies, media partners, and industry stakeholders
• Continuously identify new partnership categories and opportunities that align with our audience and values
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in partnerships, sponsorships, brand marketing, or business development, ideally in live events, entertainment, media, or culture-driven brands
• Proven track record of closing and managing revenue-generating partnerships
• Strong relationship-building skills and comfort pitching to senior decision-makers
• Strategic thinker who can also execute quickly and manage details
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Passion for live music, nightlife, and community-driven experiences across genres including emo and alternative, indie, pop, disco, and musical theater
Compensation: $100-150k base salary + uncapped commission
